Hidden Valley Lake
Hidden Valley Lake is a small community in Lake County, California. Located just to the north of Highway 33, it's about 30 minutes from Lakeport and about 50 minutes from Clearlake.
The lake itself was created in 1914 by the construction of a dam on the McCloud River. The surrounding area is filled with redwood trees and other native flora, which makes it a popular spot for hikers, campers, and bird watchers.
